The Fracture Compass

A device of unknown origin that always points toward the nearest active Void Shard. The Obsidian Covenant has possessed it for three centuries, though it was clearly made before the Fracturing. When a Shard is near, the needle bleeds violet light and hums at a frequency that causes splitting headaches in those sensitive to void energy.
